SEEBURG model 148 " Trashcan"

Plastic at the top right is loose but not broken . Paint is only bad under the selction buttons...Of course croomwork had his best day's , mirrors missing, the glass insert between the selection buttons is not original, the loudspeaker cloth is completely gone by age..Both locks are missing .Grill is rusty ..April 2003

Junction box containing the selector . and at the left is the unit with revolting color cylinder for light effects. Some wise guy did cut of the wiring , I suppose the schematic will be handy here. April 2003

Before testing the amp, most condensors where replaced , The old electrolytes are still in place, for cosmetic reasons, but disconnected , replaced by some mounted under the chassis. April 2003

Tested before cleaning, revealed a bad output transformer.Luckely these transformers are still easely to come by. One of the windings to a 6L6 was broken. Here you see the transfo removed. April 2003

One of the first things we need is the manual.

Motor, not yet tested , but looks good, no smelling...

Side view , the painting still almost intact afther 55 years... , plastic too, dome included..

At last , on 1 september everything was replated and back!! We can start mounting the last bits!!
